The region’s top public relations and communications professionals were rewarded for their work over the past 12 months at the CIPR West of England PRide Awards.
More than 150 people from across the regional PR industry gathered at Bristol’s Grand Hotel to celebrate the achievements at a glittering awards ceremony jointly compered by CIPR West of England chair Sarah Pinch and chairman of Mentor Communications Consultancy Magnus Carter.
The awards showcase the best work in the region, including campaigns, publications and events.
The work of individuals, in-house teams and agencies are also highlighted through the awards.
Gold awards were handed out to nine different winners across 18 categories.
Specialist Bristol agency PamLloyd PR went home with four gold awards and a silver, including gold for team member Ellie Lean, who was named Outstanding Young Communicator while the agency, which focuses on food marketing, claimed the Outstanding PR Consultancy of the Year title.
Bath-based Geometry PR and The Honest Truth Partnership, formed in Devon to reduce the number of young people killed or seriously injured on the roads, were honoured with three golds each including Geometry’s award for Best Use of Media Relations and The Honest Truth’s for the Best Campaign £10,000 and under.

Ms Pinch described the evening as “an opportunity to recognise the hard work, dedication, success and commitment of public relations professionals up and down the region”.
