Bristol-headquartered law firm VWV has promoted solicitors Leila Goodarzi and Rebecca Fox to partners, taking the total number in its partnership to 86.
Leila, pictured right, who joined the firm as a trainee in 2010, will now lead the firm’s estates tax and trust team in Bristol, working on a broad spectrum of estate planning issues, including setting up and closing down trusts and preparing wills. 
Leila, a member of the probate section of the Law Society, recently spearheaded the development of the firm’s legacy protection team, working closely with its charities team to help charities maximise their legacy income and manage their reputation.
Rebecca, pictured left, trained and qualified with Watford firm Matthew Arnold & Baldwin (MAB) before joining VWV in 2016 with nearly 30 former colleagues to launch VWV’s office in the town.
As a member of VWV’s employment team she has been key in developing its employment services in the life sciences sector, as well as growing its education client base from the Watford office.
She has recently been supporting businesses with the legal challenges posed by coronavirus, from advising on furlough leave and redundancy consultation to guiding strategic decisions during this pandemic.
Rebecca was recognised as a ‘rising star’ in the most recent edition of respected Legal 500 directory, which described her as “exceptional” with “immense knowledge of her subject area”.
