Charity Finance magazine has named Bristol-headquartered VWV among its top three law firms for the sector for the fourth year running.
The firm, which acts for some of Bristol’s best-known charities including Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation and The Soil Association, appears at number three in the annual ranking – the position it has held since 2014.
The table gauges the performance of law firms that work with the UK’s 350 leading charities.
VWV, which also has offices in London, Watford and Birmingham, advises more than 1,000 charities nationwide on a wide range of challenging and commercially-sensitive work.
The firm specialises in advising faith, healthcare, arts and education-based charities on their legal affairs, with clients ranging from the Diocese of Gloucester to the Society and College of Radiographers.
Its dedicated charities team also provides invaluable support for charities in the increasingly complex area of charity law and legislation.
VWV partner Con Alexander, pictured, who leads the charity law team, said: “It is excellent to once again be recognised by Charity Finance for our work in supporting charities in Bristol and nationally. The challenges now facing charities are more significant than ever and our team works hard to provide our clients with the legal services and support they need to help them succeed.
“To achieve this ranking for the fourth year running is a tremendous achievement and is a prime example of the level of trust and commitment our clients place in us to ensure their legal needs are met.”
