The full line-up of international speakers who are set to inspire, challenge and drive transformation across the region’s creative sector at this year’s Vision event has been revealed.

More than 300 creative business professionals from the worlds of advertising, digital marketing, design, publishing, PR, TV and VR will be brought together under one roof at the event on November 14.

Taking place at Bristol University’s Student Union on Queens Road, and now in its sixth year, Vision is an opportunity to explore new ways of thinking and innovative ideas about running a business through transformational talks on the next digital revolution, future developments in artificial intelligence, 360 and VR storytelling and diversity.

Delegates will experience a full day packed with new business ideas and the chance to connect and initiate partnerships and collaborations among Bristol’s high-profile creative community.

Caroline Marshall, editor of Bristol Media, which stages the event, said: “Vision has become a beacon to inspire those who work in our creative sector and it confirms Bristol’s place on the world map as a centre for creativity and innovation.

“Once again, we have been able to secure an incredible line-up of visionary speakers who are set to inspire delegates, open minds and potentially change the way they run their businesses.”

The line-up includes keynote speaker Blair Enns, alongside futurist Tracey Follows; Tarek Nseir, co-president of the British Interactive Media Association; multi-award winning designer Jim Sutherland, founder of Studio Sutherl&; and Anna Rafferty, global director: digital marketing at BBC Worldwide, along with other industry experts spanning media, digital, film and design professions.

Blair Enns, who will travel from Canada to stage his ‘Win Without Pitching’ presentation, said: “I’m looking forward to returning to Bristol and sharing some constraint-driven exercises designed to improve the new business performance of any firm.”

An expert panel of APG Creative Strategy Award judges, chaired by head of strategy from True Digital, James Caig, will focus on ‘transformational thinking’, lending insight to the themes that emerge from this year’s winners.

Bristol-based celebrity chef Josh Eggleton, from the award-winning The Pony and Trap restaurant, will be providing the catering throughout day, which will end with a post-conference party hosted by The Agency Works at the Anson Rooms.

Vision is sponsored by The Agency Works, Nomensa, Steer & Co, Cirencester College, University Centre Weston, Bright Events and Bristol OPR firm OggaDoon.
