The Bristol office of national law firm Bond Dickinson has offered positions to four of its trainees this year.
Ian Meyer, Rachel Small, Laura Elliott-Carter and Natasha Hyde have all accepted posts as newly qualified solicitors in the real estate, dispute resolution and commercial teams and will join the 250-strong Bristol office workforce.
They will have the opportunity to work across the firm’s eight key sectors of expertise including retail, energy, financial institutions, insurance, manufacturing, transport, real estate and private wealth.
Partner and head of the Bristol office, Julian Kinsey, pictured, said: “We are thrilled to be in a position to offer roles to our newly qualified solicitors and are really pleased that our trainees have made the decision to pursue their careers with Bond Dickinson. It is a testament to the excellent working environment we provide and the growth opportunities that we make available to our people.”
Bond Dickinson head of recruitment Sam Lee added: “Our people are at the very heart of what we do. We want them to enjoy long and successful careers with us and so we work hard to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to develop, grow and be rewarded for their success.
“We are proud to offer our trainees one of the best training programmes in the country which supports them every step of the way so they are equipped with the essential skills, expertise and commercial acumen to pursue a successful career in this increasingly competitive legal market.”
Bond Dickinson is retaining 22 of its trainees this year across its offices in Aberdeen, Bristol, Leeds, Plymouth, Southampton, London and Newcastle offices
Earlier this year, the firm was ranked at 161 in the 2017 Guardian UK 300 list of top graduate employers. Out of just over 60 law firms in the table, Bond Dickinson was in the top third.
The newly qualified solicitors join Bond Dickinson as it prepares to merge with US firm Womble Carlyle in October to form the transatlantic firm Womble Bond Dickinson.
