Transatlantic law firm Womble Bond Dickinson has welcomed five trainee solicitors to its Bristol office as part of a 25-strong cohort joining its eight UK offices.

The two-year training contracts give the trainees the opportunity to spend six months in four different business groups across the firm including real estate, corporate and commercial, dispute resolution and private wealth.

The programme will also introduce the trainees to the firm’s 11 key sectors of expertise as well as the opportunity for client secondments as part of their seat rotation.

WBD partner and head of its Bristol office Julian Kinsey said: “We are very pleased to welcome our new trainee solicitors who will join us here in Bristol. They are a crucial part of the future growth and success of the firm.

“We have invested in a fantastic training programme that provides the perfect environment for new talent to develop and for our trainees to gain the essential skills, expertise and commercial acumen to pursue a successful career in law.

“We hope that many of our trainees will choose to continue their careers with the firm upon qualification after experiencing the broad range of client work and exciting opportunities we can offer.”

The new trainees are Jed Dillon, Charles Lister, Sophie Lowe, Chloe Grant and Aaron Danelian.

Bristol is the firm’s second largest office in the UK, where it employs more than 250 staff. It also has 19 offices in the US.
