Bristol-based advisers from the corporate finance arm of national accountancy group Evelyn Partners and law firm Clarke Willmott have worked on the sale of one of the UK’s leading specialist fire safety companies.
Indepth Hygiene Services, which provides nationwide coverage from its base in the London Borough of Sutton, was snapped up by Premier Technical Services Group Limited (PTSG).
Indepth, which has more than 20 years’ experience in the fire safety market, has core services that include fire damper maintenance and grease extract ductwork cleaning.
Its acquisition by PTSG strengthens its capability, extending its offering and ensuring clients will have access to all fire services – including electrical, mechanical, passive and/or specialist – in one place.
Based in West Yorkshire, PTSG provides a comprehensive portfolio of passive fire services in a wide range of sectors through its fire solutions division.
Evelyn Partners’ team included partner Iain Lownes, pictured right, director Mark Lord and senior manager Tristan Bray while Clarke Willmott’s team was led by corporate partner Simon Smith, pictured below.
Indepth managing director and former owner Richard Norman said the Evelyn Partners team were instrumental in navigating the firm through the sale process from start to finish.
“Their experience was invaluable, guiding us at each stage by providing hands-on support and advice, while being a pleasure to work with,” he said.
“It was crucial for us to find a party to continue the success of Indepth and we are pleased to have achieved that with PTSG.”
Iain Lownes added: “We are delighted to have supported Richard and his team. Indepth is a highly attractive business and PTSG will be an excellent home. We look forward to seeing it continue to prosper under its new ownership.”
Simon Smith said: “We were pleased to work alongside Evelyn Partners in providing advice to Richard and Nicola Norman on the sale. We look forward to seeing the business continue to grow in the future.”
