The BBC has appointed Bristol-based national law firm TLT to provide legal advice relating to its property estate in England and Wales.
The portfolio includes more than 300 properties across totalling around 575,000 sq m of office accommodation and broadcast studios, ranging from large complex sites such as the new MediaCityUK in Salford and the W12 Media Village to roof-top sites for radio car bases, aerials, masts and webcam installations.
TLT’s team to secure the contract was led by real estate partner Stephen Elliott and included partner and head of real estate Andrew Glynn, property litigation partner Mark Routley and commercial property associate Phil Collis.
