Annual turnover at TLT, the Bristol headquartered national law firm, has increased by 15% to £71.6m as it prepares for its next ambitious three-year strategy.
Over the past three years the firm has grown revenue by 45% and its headcount by 60% to reach 1,000 people. Partner numbers have risen to 111.
The firm, which has offices in Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Manchester as well as Bristol, is due to launch its new three-year strategy this summer as its 2015/16 financial year draws to a close.
Managing partner David Pester, pictured, said: “Over the past three years we have expanded into disrupted UK markets to win market share and deliver against our strategy through organic growth and tactical team hires.
“These significant investments to build our UK business underpin our results this year.
“We have expanded in all our locations as part of strengthening our UK presence in response to client demand.
“We will now turn our energy to the next stage in our development. Specifically, looking at how we continue to deepen our expertise and stay relevant to our clients in a changing legal services market.”
TLT rejigged its senior management team this year with real estate head Andrew Glynn becoming senior partner and energy and renewables head Maria Connolly taking over leadership of the real estate group.
The firm has also signed a new 10-year lease on its landmark One Redcliff Street head office and is transforming it into around 90,000 sq ft of modern, collaborative work space designed to support the firm’s approach to agile working.
This follows a full review of its real estate with new offices or expansion/refurbishment of existing space in Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester over the past three years.
The firm is known for its experience advising organisations in the financial services, leisure, retail & consumer goods, TMT, energy & renewables, housing and public sectors, working with established brands and growing businesses.
