International legal practice Osborne Clarke has retained all of its seven spring qualifiers, with three qualifying into its Bristol office.

Becky Cupit, 25, studied Law at Cambridge University and spent a year in Germany studying German law. She qualifies into Osborne Clarke’s Bristol commercial litigation practice.

Joining the firm’s Bristol corporate practice are Ashley Morris and Jonny Gait. Ashley, 27, studied Law at Swansea University, while Jonny, 29 was at Cardiff University before undertaking a conversion course at The University of Law.

The four other spring qualifiers will be based in Osborne Clarke’s Thames Valley and London offices.

Osborne Clarke employs around 400 people at its Bristol offices. Head of office Peter Clough said: “Congratulations to Becky, Ashley and Jonny on this fantastic achievement. Our people and their talent really lie at the heart of what we do and who we are. We’re thrilled to have three more exceptional lawyers and great characters joining our ranks.”

Osborne Clarke training principal, partner Catherine Wolfenden, added: “We’ve always prided ourselves on our trainee programme. Trainees are given real responsibilities and independence from day one with regular partner support.

“We re-evaluate and test their technical knowledge through our award-winning Q3D programme. That way, we’re ensuring they can confidently enter this new stage of their careers and build from the best platform possible.”

Q3D was developed with BPP Law School to give Osborne Clarke’s junior lawyers the strongest foundation of legal knowledge and practical know-how.
