Doug Hobbs, owner of Hobbs Salon in Park Row, is one of Bristol’s best known and most respected hair stylists. He began as an apprentice aged 15 and later managed the successful Bristol salon Shaggers in the 1970s. After suffering a serious mountain biking accident in 1997 he conceived the idea of The Hobbs Show which has become the largest event of its kind outside London. He said the recent Hobbs Show would be his last. Photo by Jon Craig © JonCraig.co.uk
