Design agency Synergy Creative has made two new appointments to its team in Westbury on Trym as it continues to go from strength to strength.
The agency, which specialises in providing branding, employee communications and marketing services for clients such as Ladbrokes, Arval and the NHS, has recruited Celia Beale and Dan Alford.
Ceila, pictured, joins as an account executive from integrated communications agency EMO where she primarily worked on the Department of Health’s Smokefree programme and was involved in a number of regional and national campaigns.
She will be supporting the team across a number of accounts including South West-based 1610 Leisure Group.
Dan joins the team as a junior designer. Previously at JamJar Print, he has experience of working with a wide range of clients from public sector to hospitality and the entertainment industry. Some of his initial work for Synergy has included digital projects for Ladbrokes and marketing for Knightstone Housing.
The agency was founded in 2006 by directors Giles Hicks, Gemma McGrattan and Nicky Clark, and now employs 16 people. Over the past 12 months it has received six industry awards including the Institute of Internal Communications Regional Awards for its employee engagement work with Bracknell Forest Homes and North Bristol NHS Trust, and an Excellence Award at the national Internal Communications Awards 2012 for Best Ongoing Campaign for leisure provider 1610.
Giles Hicks said: “We’re delighted to report that 2012 has been an extremely busy year so far.
“We’ve won a number of new accounts and have been given the opportunity to work on some exciting new projects for existing clients. It’s fantastic to have Dan and Celia on board to support us with our current workload and to help deliver our plans for further growth as the year continues.”
