A new boardroom group for ambitious small and medium-sized business owners has been launched in Bristol.
Aimed at owners of established firms who feel themselves stuck or isolated, it will provide structured support from their peers which will enable them to move their businesses forward much faster than would be possible on their own.
NRG Boardroom offers a confidential and safe environment in which, for one day a month, thinking can be refreshed, new ideas obtained and focus reaffirmed.
Typically the group will share learning on strategic management and business development topics, together with accountability on 90-day plans and peer feedback on issues specific to each member’s business.
Membership is capped at eight per group and only one representative per sector is permitted, so ensuring a spirit of openness and co-operation in a non-competitive environment.
Chairman Chris Kenber, pictured, said: “It’s extraordinary how much greater than the sum of the parts such a group can be – anything seems possible”.
Boardroom member Pete Wordley, CEO of Cloud Heroes, said “Though I run a profitable business, I find it hard sometimes to see the wood for the trees. That’s where Boardroom is invaluable: I get to think about where my business is going and get great ideas and support from fellow business owners I respect”.
NRG – who are known for their successful business networking groups – already run a successful Boardroom group in Swindon and aim to launch another in Reading later in the year.
