Wealth management firm Investec Wealth & Investment has agreed a three-year partnership with iconic Bristol live music venue St George’s Bristol.
The sponsorship deal, the first of its kind for St George’s, launches this year, the 200th anniversary of the former church on Park Street, as well as the 650th year of Bristol being awarded city status.
The 580-seat venue, pictured, stages more than 300 performances, talks, workshops and events a year, engaging with 100,000-plus people.
St George’s underwent a £6.3m transformation in 2018, which upgraded and expanded its facilities, including a new bar and meeting and rehearsal rooms.
Investec Wealth & Investment, which has an office in Bristol, sponsors a wide range of international art, cultural and sports initiatives.
It said it teamed up with venues and organisations that shared its focus on energy, ambition and outstanding talent.
