National law firm Clarke Willmott, which has an office in Bristol, has expanded its support for a large social housing provider following a change to its legal framework.

The firm secured a place on a new panel of leading housing specialist law firms run by The Regenda Group, which operates in the North West.

Having previously worked for the organisation under one lot, Clarke Willmott has now been appointed to all four of the available lots on the new panel – corporate, governance, financial & securitisation; housing management and commercial; property, development & construction; and employment.

The new framework, worth £10m and running for four years, will be led by Clarke Willmott senior social housing partner Lindsay Felstead.

Lindsay, pictured, who jointly heads Clarke Willmott’s social housing sector alongside Vicky Kells, said: “We are delighted to have been reappointed to the Regenda framework and to expand our remit with the organisation.

“Not only did we retain an important lot, we also gained three more, which is a great testament to our work and the services we provide. It’s fantastic to be appointed across the board and offer a ‘one stop shop’.

Liverpool-headquartered The Regenda Group, which was formed in 2001, is primarily a social housing provider but operates across the housing and construction sector, in care and support, and in education, training and careers.

Clarke Willmott’s national specialist social housing team is one of the largest in the UK and acts for more than 100 registered providers, social landlords and major frameworks across England and Wales, including housing associations, local authorities and arms-length management organisations (ALMOs).

Clarke Willmott also has offices in Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton and Taunton.
