Fiona Westwood has joined the 200-strong Bristol office of accountancy, investment management and tax group Smith & Williamson as a partner.
Fiona, pictured, joins Smith & Williamson’s assurance and business services team from rival PwC’s Bristol office, where she worked for more than 17 years and led the firm’s national Housing Centre of Excellence.
She brings more than 20 years’ experience, notably with law firms and professional practices, charities and owner-managed businesses.
Fiona said: “I’m really excited to have joined Smith & Williamson. I chose to come and work here as the firm has a very strong reputation for excellent client service and for looking after its clients very well.
“Smith & Williamson is also highly regarded both in the marketplace and the profession so I’m delighted to be part of the growing team here and very much looking forward to working with my new colleagues. This is a great opportunity.”
Smith & Williamson Bristol office managing partner Mike Lea added: “Fiona has substantial experience at a senior level and is highly respected for her insight and judgment, making her a fantastic addition to our team.
“Her appointment strengthens our offering to law firms and other professional practices as well as charities and owner-managed businesses. We are delighted to welcome Fiona on board.”
