Bristol small firms can find out about the cloud and how best to protect themselves from cyber threats by taking part in webinar next week staged by accountancy group Smith & Williamson.
Around 75% of small businesses and entrepreneurs are looking to use cloud solutions to increase their business efficiency, according to research carried out last year as part of Smith & Williamson Enterprise Index.
But while cloud technology can empower organisations to manage their business strategically through access to real-time financial information, security breaches in recent years have resulted in some businesses shying away from new technology.
The free webinar at 2pm on Wednesday, March 21, is aimed at owner-managers, finance directors and senior staff and will outline the benefits of moving to the cloud and how to protect against cyber security threats.
It will also explain what steps cloud accounting providers are taking to mitigate safety concerns as well as what practical steps business can take to mitigate cyber security risks.
The webinar is being hosted by Smith & Williamson Bristol-based accounting advisory specialist Helen Bassett, pictured. She will be joined by Stuart Peck, director of cyber security strategy for ZeroDayLab.
