TLT is making up two associates and two legal directors to partner in a move that, along with a series of other promotions, improves the Bristol-headquartered national firm’s gender diversity at a senior level.

The newly promoted partners are corporate lawyer Nina Searle, pictured, and regulatory lawyer Duncan Reed, pictured – both based in Bristol – commercial lawyer Kuldip Dhanoya from its Manchester office, and housing lawyer Shazia Bashir, who works out of its London base.

TLT is also promoting 11 associates to legal director – financial services lawyers Emily Black, Sam McCollum, Roisin McGlinn and Claire Kershaw, construction lawyer Helen Daley, technology and IP lawyers Juliet Mason and Lisa Urwin, commercial lawyer Eleanor McClelland, housing lawyer Sarah Hale, planning and environment lawyer Debbie Reynolds, and licensing lawyer Piers Warne.

The firm has also made 25 associate promotions. All the promotions are effective from tomorrow May 1.

TLT senior partner Andrew Glynn, who was re-elected for a second three-year term in January, said: “Congratulations to all our newly promoted lawyers. It really is a wonderful achievement and a credit to their collaborative cross-office and cross-team working to support clients.

“Improving diversity is a priority for the firm and it is positive to see a 75% gender split for partner promotions and 82% for legal director.”

TLT has more than 100 partners and employs around 1,000 people. As well as its Bristol headquarters, it has offices London, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast, along with a specialist ship finance team in Piraeus, Greece.
