Clip, the exhibition stand design and build firm, has appointed experienced industry figure Doug Gosling as head of sales & marketing for its new Refresh by Clip system.
Refresh is an industry and UK first aimed at bridging the gap in the exhibition stand market between simple shell schemes and expensive full-blown stands by offering a ‘third option’.
The innovative premium quality, fabric-based system is multi-purpose and low-cost and easily re-configured into any shape or size, using the same components and without the need to use any tools.
Clip, based at Wick, near Bristol, has spent more than a year and invested hundreds of thousands of pounds to bring Refresh to market.
Doug Gosling, pictured, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the exhibition and display sector, has been brought in to help promote the benefits of the product to business owners across the UK.
He was previously managing director of Expo World, one of the UK’s premier exhibition and display companies, producing stands and graphics for many of the world’s best brands.
He said: “Clip is a world leader in exhibition and display, focusing on delivering advanced solutions to clients of all sizes.
“I’m glad to be a part of a company that never stands still when it comes to innovation and Refresh is set to be a real game-changer for the exhibition and display sector.”
Clip sales & marketing director Paul Runacres added: “Doug’s knowledge and experience in the industry will prove invaluable as we roll out Refresh in the whole of the UK.”
Clip has a turnover of £8.5m and employs more than 50 staff in Bristol. It operates on both a national and international scale, working with blue-chip companies such as Thatchers Cider, HSBC, Nandos, Thrings, Hilton, Google, Westons Cider, BT and GSK.
