National property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has grown its asset advisory and recovery team with the appointment of Rhys Griffiths, who has joined the firm’s Bristol office as a partner.
Rhys, pictured, has vast experience in the sector. A member of NARA (the professional association for Property & Fixed Charge Receivers), he is a qualified Fixed Charge Receiver and a Registered Property Receiver.
He previously worked at Cushman & Wakefield in Cardiff for nine-and-a-half years, most recently as an associate.
In his new role at Sanderson Weatherall he will expand the firm’s well-established asset advisory and recovery services into the South West and Wales, including providing strategic property advice to insolvency practitioners on various property matters including restructuring, valuation and disposal, pre and post-appointment.
He will also act as a Fixed Charge Receiver to assist lenders with challenged positions.
Rhys said, “Sanderson Weatherall has an excellent recovery team across the UK, providing the best platform to resolve challenging situations.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for me to work within a close-knit firm that has the ability to act flexibly, with expert knowledge, to serve the needs of our clients.”
Head of Sanderson Weatherall’s Bristol office, Mark Sheridan, added: “We are delighted to welcome Rhys to the firm and support him in enhancing the existing UK recovery team and offer a full spectrum of property advice to new and existing clients in the region.”
Sanderson Weatherall employs around 200 people across its nine UK offices.
