Leisure property specialist Fleurets has appointed Kevin Conibear as head of retail leisure & restaurants based in its Bristol office.
Kevin, pictured, who has been promoted from senior associate, will lead the firm’s national activity in the restaurant sector and its involvement in urban retail leisure markets.
He joined Fleurets in 2010 having previously worked as an associate with Bristol-based Insight Retail Consulting and as a senior surveyor with King Sturge (now JLL) in Bristol.
He has worked in the sector since 2005 and become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2006.
Fleurets managing director Graeme Bunn said: “Kevin is already well known within the casual dining sector and city centre markets, having acted on behalf of corporate clients and emerging brands over a number of years, with many high-profile acquisitions and sales.
“He is an ideal person to take this growth forward to a national level, as we seek to further grow our nationwide exposure and success in this ever-expanding sector.”
Kevin added: “The pace at which this sector has evolved in recent years has been phenomenal, with innovative new concepts joining established brands to create diverse urban leisure circuits. The vision of our clients to work with unusual spaces such as shipping containers, through to more traditional properties is testament to their operational expertise and we share their passion for creating new and exciting concepts.
“I am delighted to be appointed Head of Retail Leisure & Restaurants, which will oversee our national strategy and work closely with clients across Fleurets’ network of offices, throughout the UK.”
Fleurets has eight offices across the UK. Its office in Clifton covers the South West and South Wales.
