Foot Anstey, the national law firm with an office in Bristol, has appointed Bola Gibson as its new director of responsible business.
Bola, pictured, has joined from the Bristol office of international legal practice Osborne Clarke, where she had been its head of responsible business for the past three years.
Describing Bola’s appointment as a significant hire for the firm, Foot Anstey said it demonstrated its commitment to making meaningful change with a focus on clients, their people, the environment, and local communities.
In her new role Bola will direct and advance its sustainability and responsible business initiatives.
It follows the launch of the firm’s ambitious four-year growth strategy last year, which made responsible business a core strategic priority.
Foot Anstey said Bola boasted an impressive track record of leading corporate social responsibility, inclusion and sustainability, having also worked in community engagement roles at TSB Bank and Lloyds Banking Group.
In her previous jobs she had masterfully crafted and implemented strategies that ignited organisational transformation, fueled employee engagement and delivered successful business results, the firm added.
