Rapid sale of Avonmouth warehouse points to industrial market recovery, says agent

Property consultants Alder King’s Bristol office has sold the freehold of a modern warehouse  in Avonmouth within two months of bringing it to market – another sign it says of a strong recovery in the city’s industrial market.

Corporate House on Portview Road was acquired by Bristol Properties from the Portsbury Property Company for an undisclosed sum. 

It was then immediately let to expanding waste management and commercial window cleaning business Aspects Solutions. 

The detached 9,000 sq ft unit, pictured below, has warehouse space and open plan office accommodation on a 0.65-acre site with off-street parking and a secure concrete yard to the rear. 

Aspects Solutions, previously based on the South Bristol Business Park, has taken the property on a 15-year lease at £55,000 per annum.

Emma Smith of Alder King’s industrial and logistics team said: “There is very strong demand for freehold and leasehold industrial properties across the Greater Bristol area and an ever-increasing lack of supply demonstrated by the speed in which the two transactions were completed.”
