Wealth management and professional services group Tilney Smith & Williamson has made 11 promotions in its Bristol office’s business and private client teams ahead of its rebrand to Evelyn Partners later this summer.
The promotions include one new partner, five new directors and five new associate directors.
Katherine Colledge, formerly a director in the firm’s business tax services team, is now a partner.
Katherine specialises in complex tax compliance work for her clients, who range from small private businesses to large UK and multinational groups, including a number of listed companies.
She advises on all aspects of UK corporation tax, including group re-organisations, debt structuring and transactions.
The new directors include Clare Anderson, who works in the firm’s business tax department.
Her experience spans a broad range of taxes in the UK and multiple international jurisdictions, both in practice and in-house, while she also specific experience in tax compliance and reporting, due diligence and other transactional and structuring advice, with a focus on clients in the real estate sector.
Samantha Cooper has become a director in the firm’s audit team. She has 10 years’ experience providing audit and assurance services to owner-managed, private equity-backed and AIM-listed businesses covering a broad range of sectors including media and tech, retail, manufacturing and construction.
The firm’s investment management team has two new directors – Jamie Kirkpatrick and David Read.
Jamie manages portfolios for a wide range of private clients, trusts and charities while David similarly looks after investments for private individuals, corporate clients and charities. Both are Chartered Fellows of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Matthew Tribe is now a director in the financial planning team. A chartered financial planner and fellow of the Professional Finance Society, Matthew manages the financial affairs of high net worth clients.
The new associate directors are Leigh Cecil (financial planning), Rob Davies (private tax services), Charlotte Maybee (business outsourcing services), Paul Stagg (corporate finance) and Jade Voo (financial planning).
