Deborah Carrivick, a Bristol-based partner in regional law firm Foot Anstey’s international private wealth team, has won Gold in an awards scheme that recognises the individuals who maximise the potential of women in the private wealth sector.
Deborah, pictured, came top in the Woman of the Year: Business Growth (Professional Services) category of the CityWealth Power Women Awards.
She was commended for her work and extensive experience of advising clients on UK and international tax, trust and succession matters. She acts for individuals, trustees and financial institutions.
Her work involves advising individuals on the UK tax implications of being UK resident and of owning assets in the UK, looking at domicile issues and advising on the UK taxation of offshore trusts and companies.
She also advises international financial institutions and global trust companies on international tax and trusts matters, including the preparation of standard trust documents for use worldwide.
Deborah joined Foot Anstey in 2013 from Bristol rival Burges Salmon, where she had spent 15 years specialising in high-value tax and trust work
This is the third time that the impressive performance of Foot Anstey’s private wealth team has received recognition from CityWealth.
Deborah was previously an award winner at the CityWealth 2015 Power Women Awards (Leadership – Professional Services) while her colleague Anna Parker who also won gold in the category Lawyer of the Year (Regional) in this year’s CityWealth Future Leaders Awards.
