Bristol brand communications agency Workbrands has been granted membership of the trade organisation the Design Business Association (DBA) – joining a select group of 450 agencies nationwide of which 48% are based in London.
The DBA focuses on promoting professional excellence and building productive partnerships between commerce and the design industry. The association champions effective design, communicating its value and the impact it can have on business performance.
The DBA membership follows a successful year for Workbrands, whose clients include Trinity College and St John’s Hospital, Western Power, Andrews & Partners, CableCom Networking and Newcross Healthcare.
The agency, which has grown to employ 13 people, has been listed in nationwide league tables such as the Top 20 Fastest Growing B2B Agencies, the Design Week Top 100, the RAR Top 100 and the Top 5 Elite Agencies in The Drum Design Census.
Workbrands director Nick Farrar said: “We’re delighted to be an approved DBA agency and are proud to help champion the value of the design industry through a supported network. We fully stand behind the DBA’s core foundation guidelines such as confidentiality and professionalism as well as continuing professional development of staff.”
DBA membership director John Scarrott added: “We are thrilled to welcome Workbrands to the DBA. There are many design businesses working in the UK and producing fantastic work. A particular focus for the DBA is to attract those creative businesses that work to a set of business values that benefit them and their clients. We look forward to supporting Workbrands on their journey.”
