Executive recruitment firm Digby Bristow Senior Appointments, a division of established Bristol recruitment agency Lucy Bristow, has been shortlisted for Best Regional Agency at the prestigious 2012 Marketing & Advertising Recruitment Awards (MARAs).
The achievement comes barely a year after the division was launched in memory of founder and managing director Lucy Bristow’s father, who died following a lengthy battle against Parkinson’s disease.
The firm provides a recruitment service for senior and executive level jobs – fulfilling a specialist need for many of Lucy Bristow’s long-standing clients.
It has grown steadily since its launch and recently consultant Ben Lewis has been promoted to work alongside Lucy to seek further expansion.
Digby Bristow works mainly with South West firms, from small and medium-sized firms to large corporates across a range of sectors, including marketing, financial and professional services.
Lucy, who earlier this year featured in the ITV Business Club, said; “Having worked with us for over two years, Ben understands our culture and is well-placed to take the helm at Digby Bristow. We did take a leap of faith in putting our efforts into a new focus for the business in these very challenging times, but so far it’s paying off and being shortlisted for a national award so early on is a fantastic achievement.”
Now in their third year, the MARAs were established to recognise recruitment consultancies that have best confronted the changing demands of the industry. The winners will be revealed at an awards dinner in London on November 28.
Lucy Bristow has won several awards including Best Recruitment Agency in South/South West at the 2005 Recruiter Awards for Excellence. It has held Investors in People (IIP) status since 2005.
