The Government’s retail guru Mary Portas is in Bedminster this afternoon to see how the scheme she is spearheading is reviving the rundown shopping area around North Street and East Street.
Bedminster was declared on of the UK’s 12 Portas Pilots last year, being it a unique opportunity to revitalise itself.
Bedminster is receiving a slice of a £1.2m package to fund upgrading work.
