Andy Yeo, a non-executive director at Bristol-based oil prospecting firm Wessex Exploration, has become chief financial officer and will serve as an executive member of the board.
Chairman Malcolm Butler said: “I am pleased to confirm that Andy will now act in an executive capacity as chief financial officer. Andy was instrumental in the AIM flotation of Wessex and the subsequent fundraising. I am delighted that he has agreed to increase his responsibilities.”
Wessex also said it had granted share options to some directors for the issue of up to 10m new ordinary shares of 0.1p each, representing around 1.38% of total ordinary shares in issue.
