Accountancy firm Deloitte has three new partners at its South West headquarters in Bristol – Matt Cheetham, Andy Wright and Sonya Butters.
Matt, who joined the firm’s financial services audit team last summer, has made a big impact in the region’s financial services and corporate markets, according to Deloitte.
As a new partner he will use his audit and finance transformation experience to continue to drive growth in this area of the business and help businesses address a wide array of current challenges.
Andy, already a key member of Deloitte’s audit leadership team in the region, is a highly-experienced auditor and business advisor working with many of the firm’s owner-managed clients. He is also a manufacturing specialist, leading the firm’s relationships with several high-profile clients. His success in managing, developing and winning new relationships is recognised by his promotion to partner.
Sonya Butters will be relocating from the Deloitte’s Gatwick office to become a partner in the Bristol-based corporate audit team. She has significant audit experience with particular expertise in the business & professional services and travel, hospitality & leisure sectors. Sonya’s experience within the finance transformation and capital markets arenas will add to the firm’s expertise in these areas.
Practice senior partner in Bristol Denis Woulfe said: “These new partners bring with them a wealth of experience which allows us to continue to provide our clients with the very best support during what are still uncertain economic times.
“Their individual expertise across a wide range of sectors means we can continue to offer the in-depth industry understanding our clients are seeking. Their drive and commitment will also enable us to continue to grow our presence in the South West.”
