Bristol-based specialist sports facility development consultancy Sport Solutions has further strengthened its growing team with the appointment of three more staff.
Planning specialist Huw Jones, pictured below, joins as planning and development manager with responsibility for planning and development aspects of sport and leisure facility projects. He previously worked for DPP for five years where he advised private and public sector clients such as Tesco, Persimmon and the University of Glamorgan on a range of developments in the commercial, retail and leisure sector.
Consultant Dan Charlesworth, pictured below right, arrives with experience in sport development at both a local and national level. He will specialise in developing sustainable and deliverable sports development plans, completing feasibility studies and securing grant funding for projects.
Rob Edwards, pictured below left, is Sports Solutions’ new junior consultant with responsibility for assisting the team with feasibility studies for a variety of sport and leisure projects, identifying grant funding opportunities, developing sports development plans, liaising with national and regional governing bodies of sport and producing appraisals for site acquisitions. Rob has a BA in Journalism and News Media/Sport Science.
Sports Solutions provides a range of consultancy services to sports clubs, developers, schools and local authorities considering or implementing the relocation and/or redevelopment of sport and leisure facilities, which are often associated with wider development and regeneration projects.
