Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has promoted director Andrea Hunt to partner in its Bristol-based advisory team.
Andrea, pictured, has more than 30 years’ accounting, audit and assurance experience.
She specialises in leading large scale year-round service charge accounting projects for a portfolio of national and international property management clients. 
She is responsible for technical reviews and leads a team within BDO’s commercial service charge accounting centre of excellence.
Andrea, who worked in the NHS before joining BDO, also holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.
Her promotion to partner is one of 15 across BDO’s UK offices – the highest number awarded by the firm – and follows the recruitment of an additional 25 partners.
The firm’s Bristol office has appointed three new partners over the past three years and has also doubled the amount of space it occupies at Bridgewater House, Finzels Reach.
BDO Bristol lead partner Andrea Bishop said Andrea Hunt’s appointment meant half of the Bristol office’s eight partners are female.
