Colliers International has been appointed joint agents alongside DTZ for the refurbished Pithay building – one of Bristol city centre's biggest office blocks offering some of the largest open-plan floor spaces.
The eight-storey building has around 52,000 sq ft of accommodation on offer over five floors including the third and eighth, a choice of suites on the fourth, space on the second and a further 4,255 sq ft on the first floor.
James Preece of Colliers said: "The outstanding attraction at The Pithay is the sheer size of the open-plan floor space which gives occupiers a great deal of flexibility when configuring their work areas.
“There are also a number of attractive smaller suites from around 1,300 sq ft upwards that allow The Pithay to accommodate businesses of all sizes.
In addition there is a very competitive car parking ratio of one space to each 900 sq ft leased.”
Previous tenants include the Government Office for the South West, the COI, the Health and Safety Executive and HMRC.
Phil Moore of DTZ added: “The fact the Government chose The Pithay for these headline services demonstrates its enviable position in the city’s main commercial district. The Pithay has now been refurbished to offer a light, cool and contemporary environment.”
Its two reception areas have been extended and refurbished along with common areas, the roof and lifts have been replaced and exterior redecoration work has just completed.
