Bristol-based law firm Barcan+Kirby has appointed four new trainee solicitors as it continues to strengthen its offering to businesses, families and individuals.
Clare Boulton, Jamie Lodge, Harvey Rainey and Aishah Din, pictured, started their contracts with the firm, which has five offices across Bristol and South Gloucestershire, last month.
Clare has previous experience as a paralegal in both private client and litigation and is taking her first seat in the commercial property department in the firm’s Gloucester Road office.
Harvey has a background in financial litigation and professional negligence and is taking his first seat in the personal injury department in the city centre office.
Aishah and Jamie both have master’s degrees in law and are taking their first seats in the family departments in the Kingswood and Gloucester Road offices respectively.
The trainees will undertake four seats over the two years of their training contracts, picking up invaluable experience along the way with the support of their mentor.
They will get to shadow senior members of staff who have a range of different specialisms, developing their legal expertise and confidence while assisting with client matters.
The trainees will also be able to take advantage of Barcan+Kirby’s Training Academy, where they can share their experiences with each other during the course of their contracts, allowing them to build relationships, gain firm-wide exposure and showcase their project management skills.
