Accountancy group PwC is continuing to invest in its senior management team across the West with the appointment of two directors and two senior managers in the regional tax and assurance practices.
Richard Cleary joins as a director in risk assurance. His expertise includes managing and advising on major business transformation programmes, specialising in ERP implementations and optimisation. For the past six years, he has advised businesses at board level through major change programmes. Prior to that, he worked for 11 years in industry, including a role as the head of IT assurance at Bristol drinks giant Allied Domecq. Richard has an MBA and is fluent in four languages.
Caroline Jones has rejoined PwC as tax director and will lead the tax employment team across the West & Wales working with both public and private sector clients to help them manage and reduce employment costs, as well as dealing with compliance issues. Caroline has 35 years of tax experience and started her career as an inspector of taxes at HMRC.
David Bowen will head the wealth advisory practice across the region, providing specialist investment and strategic planning services for wealthy individuals, families and trusts. He previously headed the southern regional private banking team at Credit Suisse.
James Hartley, an experienced actuary, joins the tax pensions team. He has more than10 years' experience providing pension advice to a range of trustees and corporate clients. James will focus on working with the private sector organisations in the West.
