South West property consultancy Alder King has appointed Tom Jackson as a surveyor in its Bristol residential development team in response to increased client growth.
A graduate of the University of Reading with an MSc in Real Estate, Tom, pictured, has joined from the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) in Bristol.
He will assist with providing development consultancy advice while completing his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and gaining valuable experience in all sectors of the business.
Alder King residential development team partner James Chaffer said: “We’re delighted to welcome Tom to the team, particularly at a time when we’re winning a raft of new instructions.
“Tom brings valuable experience from his time at the VOA and will now build on this by helping service these instructions.
“We will also support and mentor Tom as he works to complete his APC to qualify as a RICS surveyor.
“He began the process at the VOA and we’re confident that through the wide range of opportunities he’ll experience here, he’ll succeed in passing next year and go on to build a successful property career.”
Alder King’s residential development team works with a wide range of public and private sector clients, advising on greenfield and brownfield land and buildings with residential conversion potential.
The team has significant experience in development viability and provides advice to developers, landowners and local authorities across the country with a particular specialty in the retirement sector.
