Regional law firm Michelmores has appointed Elizabeth Stilwell as a partner in the growing private client team at its Bristol office.
Elizabeth, pictured, joins from national law firm Davies and Partners, where she was head of the wills, trusts and probate team for 12 years. 
She specialises in advising on the drafting of wills and related inheritance tax – including business and agricultural property reliefs, administering estates for probate – those with international assets and advising on lasting powers of attorney and deputyship applications.
She is also a member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) – the worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations.
Michelmores head of the private wealth team in the Bristol office, Sandra Brown, said: “Elizabeth’s appointment follows a period of continued growth for the Bristol office and will help up to further strengthen our private wealth offering to clients in Bristol and surrounding areas – we are very much looking forward to working with her.”
Michelmores opened its Bristol office three years ago. It also has offices in Exeter and London.
