Bristol-based IT services firm Chorus has embarked on an ambitious five-year growth plan after appointing a new managing director.
Nicola Saner, pictured, has moved into the role after two years as operations director at the firm.
She will now leading the executive team as it looks to implement its five-year expansion strategy.
Portishead-based Chorus was launched as an IT consultancy in 1999 by Mark Taylor, who is still a director of the business.
After merging in 2012 with Clevedon-based graphic design and creative services Mango Ink Creative, it began offering a complete range of digital and IT services covering traditional IT support, cloud computing, CRM systems, SharePoint, portals and websites.
The firm recently launched a new security operations centre to help UK organisations benefit from advanced security protection and support against growing cyber threats.
Nicola said: “When Chorus was founded the goal was to bring enterprise-level technology and support into the SME market and to help organisations of all sizes get the most from their IT, which is why our mission is ‘using technology to put people first’.
“This year has been especially challenging for organisations, but we have seen the incredible flexibility and importance of technology.
“Now more than ever, organisations need the right support to help them get the most from their Microsoft technology and securely embrace a cloud-orientated modern workplace.
“One of the cornerstones of where we are today is that we’ve built a strong culture and I believe it is our expertise combined our approach that has attracted staff to work for us and appealed to our clients.”
She said key to this was the launch earlier this year of its new company values – ‘stay curious, embrace the future, champion the truth and enjoy the journey’.
“Thanks to our excellent staff and customers Chorus has grown consistently over the past 21 years. I am excited about the opportunities ahead of us and looking forward to leading Chorus through the next phase of its growth,” she added.
