International property agency JLL has appointed Tim Harris to lead its South West and Wales region, based in its Bristol office.
Tim, pictured, replaces Simon Peacock in the post, which also covers JLL’s offices in Exeter and Cardiff.
Simon, who has been in the role for the past six years, will now focus his leadership responsibilities as head of regions and head of clients, a job he was appointed to last January and in which he has responsibility for the firm’s 10 regional offices across the UK.
Tim has spent the past 20 years at JLL, joining what was then called King Sturge in 2003 after more than six years as a project manager at Gleeds.
He has since undertaken a range of senior roles at JLL, including head of UK operations for project, cost consultancy, head of South project management and South region CFO.
His most recent position was as UK operations director for project and development services.
Tim will now work closely with Tim Western in Exeter and Justin Millett in Cardiff to provide clients with a seamless service.
Simon Peacock said: “Tim has demonstrated over many years his excellent client management skills, building relationships and client accounts, in particular with higher education and tech clients.
“Like me, Tim is very passionate about the region and the opportunities it boasts, having delivered many regionally significant projects for over 20 years for developers, investors and occupiers.
“JLL’s commitment to the continued growth and development of our people has ensured that we have the right talent to take on new roles and I am confident that Tim will continue to deliver excellence for our clients and the teams across the South West and Wales.”
JLL was formed in 2011 through the merger of King Sturge and Jones Lang LaSalle.
