Clip, the Bristol-based the exhibition stand design and build firm, has appointed Andy Mason as head of lead generation.
Andy, pictured, will be responsible for generating new business and promoting Clip’s range of display products, graphics and exhibition stands – including its recently launched innovate low-cost Refresh system.
He will also help retain existing Clip clients, which include Thatchers Cider, HSBC, Nandos, Hilton, Google, Westons Cider, BT and GSK.
Andy has a background in marketing and ran his own digital marketing company for eight years before joining Wick-based Clip.
He also has a passion for astronomy, with a degree in astrophysics, and his own gallery website where he sells acrylic prints of astronomical images.
Clip head of sales and marketing, Paul Runacres, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Andy to the team. His knowledge and expertise will ensure Clip remains at the cutting edge of the exhibition and live events space; and continue to give our clients first class products and service.”
Andy comments: “Clip is like a family, with many people who have worked here for decades – giving me a tremendous resource of knowledge to draw from. I’m excited to learn more about the business and market sector, as well as using my existing skills to help Clip fulfil its ambitions.”
Andy’s appointment comes as its innovative Refresh concept attracts widespread attention in the market.
Refresh is an exhibition and event system that bridges the gap between a simple shell scheme and expensive full-blown stands, by offering a ‘third option’ that is multi-purpose and low-cost.
Clip spent a year developing the system – an industry first – before launching it to the UK market in June.
It says Refresh has already had a huge impact on the market and the firm is expecting record year-end sales as a direct result of inquiries – with sales figures already 15% up on the same time last year.
Refresh is a premium quality fabric-based system that is easily re-configured into any shape or size, using the same components and without the need to use any tools.
Clip operates both nationally and internationally and turns over £8.5m, employs more than 50 staff. It has more than 30 years’ experience building exhibition stands and managing live events for companies of all sizes.
