National building consultancy Vantage has opened an office in Bristol and appointed two staff members to kick off its expansion into the South West.
The office, the firm’s fourth, will be used as a springboard into the region for the Manchester-headquartered group, which specialises in office, retail and warehouse dilapidations, project management, surveys, construction (design and management) regulations and technical due diligence.
Catherine Peters has joined Vantage in Bristol as a building surveyor and project manager, having spent the past five years at commercial building consultancy Hollis.
She has extensive project management experience, ranging from small building works to major office and distribution centre refurbishment.
Also working from the office on the Almondsbury Business Park is James Dix, who has joined as a building surveyor. James has been studying at Sheffield Hallam and has recently been working part-time as a Covid-19 test centre assistant.
Vantage director and founder Paul Wood said: “We are committed to the return to the office and opening an office in Bristol is a big part of this commitment.
“We know the benefits of flexible working and fully support this as a part of our ongoing strategy, but we do truly believe that office working will still play a major part of this.
“In spite of the current Covid-19 pandemic, we have proven that proper planning and being committed to investing in the next generation of surveyors can be of real benefit to the industry and Vantage Building Consultancy.
“We look to continue this growth within our key regional hubs, with our new team members being able to better serve the South West and strengthen our national coverage”.
Formed in 2015, Vantage also has offices in London and Newcastle upon Tyne.
