Global real estate advisor CBRE has made another round of appointments in its Bristol office across a number of teams, including capital markets, investment and property management.
Richard Howell, pictured, joins as a senior director in capital markets from Avison Young, where he spent nearly 14 years and set up the firm’s Bristol investment team.
In his new role at CBRE he will cover the South West and South Wales investment markets, working with sector team leads.
Lee Halmshaw, pictured, also joins from Avison Young, where he built his career over the past 19 years and was most recently a director in its property tax team.
At CBRE he will further drive CBRE’s rating offering across the region as a director.
Further new starters include building consultancy hires Stephen Golding and Lauren Sporle, who will join as associate director and assistant surveyor respectively.
Meanwhile, Sophie Haslum, pictured, arrives as associate director in the office’s development team and Fraser Mitchell and Alistair Norman join as senior surveyors in the property management.
Richard Howell said: “I’m excited to join such a well-established team and to bring my expertise in finding new opportunities for investors across the region.”
Lee Halmshaw added: “I’m looking forward to harnessing CBRE’s national knowledge as our team leverage our local market insights to support a number of organisations in the South West and South Wales on their rating requirements.”
The latest joiners have arrived just a few weeks after CBRE strengthened the valuation capability in its Bristol office with a number of new hires.
CBRE Midlands and South region managing director Tom Morris said: “We’ve been busy welcoming new colleagues in recent months and are excited to have everyone on board as we continue to grow our regional team.
“Attracting the very best talent across the growth areas of our business has been a priority for a number of years, so it is great to see this come to fruition.
“We continue to invest in where our clients need us most and I look forward to expanding our capabilities in 2024.”
CBRE is the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, employing around 115,000 people in 450 offices worldwide, including eight in the UK.
It offers a broad range of integrated services spanning facilities, transaction and project management to property management and sales.
