Accountancy group KPMG has made 59 promotions across its Bristol and Plymouth offices, including a new director, in a move it said demonstrates its continued investment in its future leaders in the South West.
Rob Andrews has been made a director in its audit function while 14 further employees are now senior managers, 13 have become managers and 31 assistant managers.
KPMG, which employs around 550 professionals in the region, said the promotions spanned the full breadth of its services and had been underpinned by the successful growth of the business and increased client demand over the past year.
The appointments also build on April’s partner promotions, which included Iain Prince, Ian Wood, Jon Brown, Simon Robinson, David Harris and Roger Gadd.
KPMG UK South West senior partner Ian Brokenshire said the investment came on the back of the South West being one of the group’s fastest-growing regions.
“These promotions acknowledge the talent we have across the various functions of the firm,” he added.
“Investing in our colleagues and rewarding hard work is vital to ensuring that we can continue to support our clients through the challenging business landscape.
“The promotions further reflect our commitment to having a strong market presence in the South West.”
The promotions are part of the firm’s plans to expand its presence in the region and closely follow its recent move to a larger office in Plymouth.
