Financial recruitment agency Alexander Daniels has opened an office in Bristol, the second employment specialist to move into the city in just over a week.
Birmingham-based Alexander Daniels, which specialises in corporate governance and executive search, said it has launched in Bristol as a direct response to increasing demand from clients impressed with its performance in the Midlands.
Headed by the firm’s co-founder Nick Pearce, the office is looking to build a team with a mixture of high calibre graduates, consultants and senior consultants.
The move is the latest in the firm’s rapid expansion. It has tripled in size since its launch nearly two years ago and has a staff of 15 serving a wide range of companies.
Finance and accountancy director Nick Pearce said: “This is a really exciting step forward for Alexander Daniels as a business.
“We know that we are entering a very competitive market but I am confident that the quality of our service, which is underpinned by our added value philosophy, will help us break down any barriers.”
Alexander Daniels supplies permanent and interim recruitment services to firms in financial services, utilities, business services, retail and manufacturing.
Areas of expertise include financial accounting, management accounting, business analysis, risk, compliance, internal audit and board and senior level appointments.
Last week industrial recruitment firm Gap Personnel opened in Bristol to supply temporary workers to firms in sectors including manufacturing, warehousing, waste management, recycling and food production. It said it saw potential in the city ahead of the opening of the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone.
