Some of the West’s biggest corporate names are this week exhibiting at the annual North Somerset Business Show.

The sell-out event takes place at the Winter Gardens in Weston-super-Mare on Wednesday between 2pm until 7pm.

Among the exhibitors will be HSBC Business Banking, Old Mill Accountants and ASC Recruitment, Yeo Valley Lakewood Conference Centre and Weston College’s Business Enterprise Centre.

There will also be a programme of seminars, guest speakers, networking sessions and advice clinics.

The seminar programme includes BT’s regional director Michael Dunn, Andrew Scott, managing director of North Somerset’s largest marketing company The Ascot Group, and Simon Pearson of Puzzlebox, who will be outlining how to implement visual techniques in a sales pitch.

Organiser Ian Williams said “It’s going be the must-attend event for businesses and the public in the region. The programme is filled with clinics and advice sessions to give business owners hints and tips they can take away and implement.

“North Somerset has so much to offer as a business community and the show aims to demonstrate this.”

Ian is also encouraging visitors to register for free on the website beforehand so they can benefit from fast-track entry and preferred attendance to the seminars and networking sessions.

North Somerset Council chairman Cllr Terry Porter will open the show and Weston MP John Penrose will also visit.
