Graduate surveyor Josh Bryant has been appointed by national property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) to bolster its growing Bristol-based lease advisory team.
Josh, pictured, graduated last year with a first-class honours degree in Property Investment and Management from the University of the West of England (UWE), which included a one-year placement in the commercial property team at Sanderson Weatherall’s Bristol office.
In his new job he will support James Banks, who recently joined LSH as associate director in the lease advisory team, and will work towards gaining his APC (Assessment of Professional Competence).
The team provides a range of key services to the commercial property sector, including lease renewal, rent review, lease re-gear and Section 18 (dilapidations) advice to both investors and occupiers in the public and private sectors. Key LSH clients include Swindon-based Nationwide Building Society, property investment group Mapeley, Wesleyan Assurance and developer Urban Splash.
Josh said: “It’s an exciting opportunity to start working with one of the most respected commercial property agencies in the country and I’m looking forward to learning from some of the best in the business.”
Head of LSH’s Bristol office Darren Sheward said: “Josh brings valuable primary experience in valuation for a wide range of clients in the area.
“LSH is committed to nurturing the next generation of commercial property experts and Josh has demonstrated that he has the drive and ambition to succeed in this very competitive sector,” he said. “I wish him the very best as he begins his career with us.”
