South West property consultancy Alder King has appointed Hugh Collins to its highly successful graduate programme in Bristol.
Hugh, pictured, has joined the firm’s award-winning investment and energy teams as a junior surveyor, initially focusing on land acquisition for a number of energy sector clients while also working towards his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
Hugh recently graduated from UWE, where he was awarded a Distinction in his MSc Real Estate Finance and Investment degree.
He has a particular interest in investment and development, having developed a number of projects on his family’s farms in North Wiltshire.
Alder King lead investment partner John Benson said: “For a very recent graduate, Hugh already has a wealth of knowledge and experience which will stand him in good stead as he now works towards his APC. We are delighted to welcome such a high calibre graduate to the team.
“We will now provide him with a wide range of opportunities to further broaden his experience and give him a successful platform on which to build his career.”
Alder King employs around 130 people across its offices in Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Gloucester, Swindon, Taunton and Truro.
It provides multi-disciplinary advice to private and public sector clients throughout the country on all aspects of commercial property and land and has won the Estates Gazette ‘South West Most Active Agent’ award for 17 consecutive years.
