Bristol-headquartered national law firm TLT has received the coveted Investors in People Bronze standard in recognition of its continuous improvement across four business areas.
The standard, awarded to just 5% of Investors in People-accredited organisations in the UK, acknowledges the firm's commitment and focussed strategy for growth based on client needs, its effective firm management, motivation of employees and contribution to the local community.
Investors in People South managing director John Telfer said: “Being presented with the Bronze award is a well-deserved achievement for TLT. I would like to congratulate the organisation and its people on their commitment to continuous improvement, and encourage other businesses to learn from their fantastic example.”
TLT employs more than 800 staff in offices in Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Manchester as well as its Bristol headquarters.
TLT managing partner David Pester, pictured, added: “We’re in a competitive market when it comes to attracting and retaining the best talent. This external recognition is therefore exceptionally important. It shows our commitment to continuous improvement and best practice in how we engage with and support our people.
“More importantly, it is a work in progress. By taking part in the Investors in People process we will always be improving our working environment, supporting our people so that they can be successful at what they do.”
TLT has been recognised as an Investor in People since 1996. Last year the firm was named as Best Managed National Firm at the MPF Awards and National Firm of the Year 2013 by Legal Business magazine.
