Six new appointments and four promotions have been announced by property agency Hartnell Taylor Cook across its London and Bristol offices.

The move forms part of a planned expansion for the Bristol-headquartered firm, which includes creation of a business space department in its London office to handle a growing number of office and industrial instructions, including acquisition/disposal work on behalf of ATS Euromaster.

Chris Wright has joined from Keningtons as an associate director to head the department.

Gemma-Jane Ogden has joined the Bristol-based investment department as a senior surveyor covering all aspects of the market nationwide. She was previously at Alder King where she obtained more than four years’ experience in the South West market.

Natasha Kitson has joined the property and asset management team from Mainstay Residential, expanding it further following a number of new management instructions and Hartnell Taylor Cook inclusion on the Crown Commercial Services Estates Professional Services Framework RM928.

The firm has also appointed three new graduates. Edward Hoccom and Tamsyn Angove join the project and building consultancy team in the London and Bristol offices respectively, while Hannah Batchelor will be based in Bristol with the property and asset management team.

In addition to the new appointments, Hartnell Taylor Cook has made a number of promotions.

Marc Cross and Adam Cooper have both been promoted to directors. Marc is in charge of the expanding project and building consultancy team based in London and covering the whole of the UK.

Adam is a member of the property and asset and management team in Bristol and is primarily responsible for the management of the Co-operative Group portfolio covering the South West and Wales.

Bhavesh Yagnik has been promoted to an associate director in the property and asset management team in the London office and has recently been appointed to manage the portfolio owned by the London Olympic Legacy Group.

Katie Bohin has been promoted to senior surveyor in Bristol’s property and asset management team and has been closely involved in the asset management of the Avon & Somerset Police portfolio.

Hartnell Taylor Cook managing partner Stuart Howell, of LLP said: “At the start of this year, we identified areas within our business for expansion and these new appointments and promotions form part of the growth strategy. The new appointments will further improve the quality of our service while maintaining the personal approach.

“It is always good to reward staff for hard work and to welcome new recruits and we are proud of our reputation for recruiting some of the best young surveyors into the industry and then nurturing that talent.”
