Stephen Chang has joined facilities and property management company Almeda as financial controller.
Stephen, pictured, arrives at the Keynsham-based family business from IT managed service provider Adapt, where he worked in a senior management accountant role. 
While at Adapt he helped establish the finance function and grow the business from £50m to £60m turnover.
He has worked with a range of clients from owner-managed enterprises to large utility companies including the Welsh Rugby Union.
He attained his chartered accountant status with PricewaterhouseCoopers (now PwC) in its audit function.
He said he was attracted to Almeda as he was looking for a new challenge and wanted to work for a company that makes a positive difference in not only its industry but also the wider community.
Stephen’s appointment is the latest in a string at Almeda and takes the total number of staff at the business to 50.
Managing director Brady George said: “Stephen is an experienced financial controller who understands the numbers but is also creative and entrepreneurial in his thinking. He will be a fantastic addition to our team, helping to instil our core values in all that we do as his ideals perfectly align with ours.”

Almeda works with businesses and organisations to reduce costs and transform the spaces they work in.
Clients include Bath Racecourse, Bristol’s Arnolfini at gallery SS Great Britain, Bristol and Bath Science Park.
